Adam At GIANT

Boring dok rumah.. Me and hubby decided to go to Giant.. sebab it's situated sekangkang kera je dari rumah :)...

Masa makan2 kat food court dia... baru kami perasan yang mainan gerak2 dia free jee... tak yah put coins! So Adam seronok la main.. siap tak mo berenti lagi...penat kami kena tunggu!

ok lah...Sila jamu mata ek.... nak p keje dah nih.. tak leh cite banyak2!

CAREER FAIR, 29 AND 30 NOVEMBER 2008 AT PISA PENANG!

I decided to sacrifice my Sat and Sun to volunteer being in the team participating in the career fair held at PISA. Heheh...

Yeah right... I'm not that gud lah... Actually, I've no annual leave left as I've to take care of Adam when he was hospitalised (not going to elobrate on that as it sooo old news already).

I'm going to leave my company soon.. to join a new one.. So I need a long break between that :)
(To "flush" my mind and neutral it back- sort off) My last day would be 4th of January which falls on Sunday and I will start my "cutis" from 24th December... Insyaallah...

Back to the career fair story - This year, the crowd was a dissapoinment. After all the news we've heard about VSS, factory shut down.. bla bla bla.. apparently, there are not many people that need a job after all... huh... (or the promotion of the career fair sucks?)
And the candidate.... mak aiii.. still pilih keje tuh.. I mean.. if you apply for technician position... please expect that you will work in shifts.... Common lah.. nak normal.. keje opis la beb! Memuda lagi dah tak mo keje susah sket camana? Fresh Grads.. be reasonable.. It's not logical that you studied in business but apply for NPI engineer position! Pening apa? CGPA second lower... what's wrong kalau start with technician dulu... amek experience.. nih dah.. CGPA tak sebrapa tapi nak nak gak jadi engineer... be patient.. experience is crutial... emmm..... kesian tuh kesian gak tapi kekadang tuh angin tol....

Udah lah... jadik mak nenek lak... Anyways.. enjoy the pics...

15 November 2008 - Late Entry

-Me n my colleagues-

15/11 - Hamidah got "hooked"(a.k.a married) with her "sweet heart" - Satri. :)

We did not get to take lots of pictures as we arrived late -about 3 pm something (Note: Korina punya pasal la nih ;). Midah had just finished performing her Zohor prayer so kami Makan2 dulu... then jumpa Midah sat and tangkap gambo.... It was a simple but beautiful ceremony... and the food was yummy!!!

Actually, I was just recoverring from the miscarriage...Masih dalam MC...Tak jumpa lagi kengkawan after keguguran tuh.. Tatau nak berdepan macam mana dengan depa -My emotional state was not that "balance"... Ingat tak mo p tapi dah janji n nak sangat tgk Mid kawen ;) ... I then decided to go... So I put a brave face and smile allllll the waayyyy.... emmm... talk about hiding your feelings away! (think I'm good in it ) anyway... I glad I did.... After sembang2.. rasa tenang sket...ok lah.. tidaklah sekekok seperti yang memula saya pk kan...

After that.....

We rushed to attend kawan Ashraf nye majlis tunang lak... Dunno nama betul dia.. but they called him "Jambu" emmmm.....???

anyways... his fiancee (alamak.. forgot her name) was beautiful in yellow... since nih majlis tunang je n idak la seramai orang di kenduri Hamidah.. here.. we were able to take a bit more pictures....

Adam 1st Bday Party

We held the party at my MIL's house since Ashraf suggested that mak masak for the occasion...
MIL masak nasi beriani, bihun, nuggets, hot dogs etc.... Better buat rumah MIL..Families pon leh turun tolongkan...


The cake..
from Baskin Robbins.. Tempahan last minute.. tak bleh pilih flavour, shape n the cake colour.. but you can design the drawings atas cake yourself... So I lukis bee since Adam nyer costume bee kan..n tiru sket2 design from baskin robbins nye cake.... I've to put a note here that the drawing of the bee on the cake was wayyyyyyy better than my version!!!! hehe... suke


Kak Nor.. My sister in law volunteered to buy cupcakes for Adam's Bday.. Tapi oleh sebab party tuh kami awalkan.. tukang buat cupcakes tuh tak leh commit... I thought...tak per la.. nak wat cane..But Kak nor in the other hand... decided to make the cupcakes herself!!!... Masa tuh la dia blajar.. masa tuh la dia buat.. rajin sungguh my SIL nih!!!! (note: very generous n berbakat indeed! :)) Tengok la hasil dia... n rasa dia pon BESTTTTTT!!!! :) THANK YOU KAK NOR!!!

Overall... We were very happy with the event... we did not expect so many people to turn up since memula tuh jemput families jerrr... last minute ajak kawan2.... bagitau ada kenduri... hehe.. ada yang marah sebab tak cakap birthday... so depa tak prepare pape pon.. it's okay... you being in the party is all that matters... Goodies bag pon habis banyak out of 50+ bags... tinggal 19 jer untuk kawan2 adam kat nursery... tak de la sambut ngat kat nursery... kami bagi sebiji kek n goodies bags je.... tatau la teacher dia sambut cane :)

The initial plan was to have Adam's Birthday Party on 30th Nov 2008... Tup tup on Tuesday 18th I've been told to participate in the career fair that will be held on... 29th and 30th!! Ceh.. Well there goes our plan....

Hubby and me later decided that 23/11 would be the most appropriate date to have the party..
Terpaksa la kami rush the preparation since kami mmg tak sediakan pape pon lagi!
So lepas keje kena la heret Adam ke shopping mall.. tu yang jadi event seperti gambo di atas tuh.. adam kepenatan giler! kami keluar nak beli barang2 tapi dissapoint betul laa that kat Penang (island) tak de pon satu kedai yang jual party goodies/costumes in one roof(tatau la kalau ada tapi me n hubby mmg betul2 dah cari dah!)! I mean one kedai yang jual segala peralatan untuk party.. kan senang..

At first I wanted a sponge bob theme..as Adam suke sponge bob... we did find sponge bob paper plates/cups and bought them.. tapi topi.. goodie bags... mainan... decorations etc tak de pon yang bertemakan sponge bob!!!! eiiii...geram!!!! Pegi balik kedai tuh n tukau tema Pooh..senang.. banyak gak kedai jual menda2 pooh nih kan... seb baik dia kasik tukau.... then carik costume.. tak jumpa lak costumes character dalam cite pooh... at last we settled for a bee costume.. ok lah tuh... dari takdekan... macam-macam hal!

SAD

I'm sad to announce that I'm not pregnant anymore... I had a miscarriage on 12 November 2008.. I won't elobrate on that coz it breaks my heart... still does...

After I lost "it"... i realize how i took "it" for granted..
I'm worried that I will gain weight..
I'm worried on how will I cope with two kids..
Worried on everything and left little thinking to the "little one"

Tell ya... It's not the physical pain that hurts the most.. but its the emotional pain...
it's almost unbearable... I would "lost myself" if not having the support from mr hubby, Adam and families...

Adam makes me strong and realize that I have him to call me mama...
and Mr hubby will do anything to cheer me up...
Thanks sayang....

Futhermore... I got Adam's birthday preparation to take my minds of the miscarriage...
:) ...... and that's how I slowly heal myself......

Long Overdue

Ermmm..... There are lots of things to update but not enough "rajin" factor in me to put the memories into words...



However there's one update that I could not resist to write in here.... I am NOW officially....

2 months pregnant... You can refer to the ticker above... hehe.. NO.. we did not expect to have another one sooo soon but we welcome the news with open hands and heart... All that we want is for the baby to be healthy....



Actually, I found out during Ramadhan... After a bet with a friend of mine... She was worried sick as her period did not "flows" as usual... I often scolded her for worrying too much.. My period did not come also.. but I stay calm as I don't have regular periods anyway.... heh.. so we bought a pregnancy test kit at the factory clinic... She did the test first and it was -ve... you can see the "lega"-ness in her face.. Then it was my turn... With all the confidence in the world that I AM NOT pregnant.. I did the test and to my surprise there were two lines.... I called Ashraf immediately and again to my surprise he was so calmed and happy to hear the news... not that I'm not happy... I'm just.... clueless....

Anyhow... keep the story short.. now here I am... feeling awful and nausea.... hormone gone wild I guess.. Ashraf keep insisting that it was all in my head.. It is a mystery to him that I suddenly got this morning sickness and be sensitive with smells and all sort of things.. only and only if I knew I'm pregnant... If I did not do the test... and are not aware that I'm pregnant.. I'm... "normal"... happily jumping around... makan apa saja... lalala... ermmmm why ah? Oh.. if you are thinking the same idea as Ashraf... NOOOOO..you are WRONG!!! I'm not making this up!!! I do suffer from the changing hormones... But this time.. I think I'm stronger.. For the sake of Adam....

And Ashraf as always.. being so kind to me... juggling with work and taking care of Adam... Emm.. pity him... Not only Adam... He has to take care of me as well.... emmm.... Don't know what to do if he's not around..... Appreciated it sooooo much Sayang!!!

ok lah..... sat gi emo lak... p/s: Ashraf is currently on his way to KL for training... sob sob... I will have to be "independent" for two days!!!

Baju From Tok Su

My dear hubby dah start merungut pasal I bought too many clothes for Adam (Altho sometimes dia gak yang nak beli :p). Dia kata ada lagi baju yang Adam tak penah pakai... Well, at first - I don't believe him! Tak kan lah! At least musti skali Adam pakai koleksi baju-bajunya...

Anyhow, after bukak almari baju Adam n membelek2 pakaiannya... tup-tup tergantung lah baju n sluar di bawah.. Aik!! Luper laa.... Actually baju di bawah itu adalah hadiah daripada su and ayah su yakni Tok Su Adam time diaorg datang melawat Adam masa saya berpantang dulu!! hehe... Baru skang muat pakai... So saya pakaikan time nak balik rumah Nani Adam (yup.. Adam akan panggil Ashraf's mother as Nani)
